Same-day courier prices in Ankara deserve a fresh look this week. The capital celebrates the 103rd anniversary of the Republic on 29 October and hosts the summit of the Organization of Turkic States on 29–30 October, so traffic arrangements are expected on several central boulevards, while diesel in Ankara is close to TRY 98 per litre. In this guide we priced 13 real Ankara routes using measured road distances and explain how to keep deliveries on schedule during a week of closures.
In short
- Our starting prices in Ankara (VAT included): walking courier TRY 144, bicycle / e-bike / e-scooter courier TRY 216, motorcycle and car courier TRY 288.
- Walking couriers take jobs up to 1 km and bicycle or scooter couriers up to 3 km; motorcycles go up to 75 km and cars up to 100 km, all measured by road.

Same-day courier prices in Ankara 2026: our current rates

Two things set the price of a courier in Ankara: the vehicle and the distance. We run five courier types, each suited to a different range and parcel size. These are our customer prices, VAT included, valid as of 28 October 2026:
| Courier type | Starting price | Road distance covered | Maximum road distance we take | Beyond 5 km | Parcel limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Walking courier | TRY 144.00 | up to 1 km | 1 km | not offered | 5 desi |
| Bicycle courier | TRY 216.00 | up to 3 km | 3 km | not offered | 5 desi |
| E-bike / e-scooter courier | TRY 216.00 | up to 3 km | 3 km | not offered | 5 desi |
| Motorcycle courier | TRY 288.00 | up to 5 km | 75 km | TRY 57.60 per extra km | 40 desi |
| Car courier | TRY 288.00 | up to 5 km | 100 km | TRY 57.60 per extra km | 150 desi |
The distance limits are a service rule rather than a pricing trick. Walking couriers only take jobs of up to 1 km, and bicycle, e-bike and e-scooter couriers jobs of up to 3 km. There is no extra km fee on these types because there are no longer jobs: short deliveries stay short and our couriers are not overstretched.
For motorcycles and cars the first 5 km are flat at TRY 288, and each further kilometre adds TRY 57.60: price = 288 + (km − 5) × 57.60. A 14.37 km job from Kızılay to Ostim therefore costs TRY 827.71. Motorcycle and car cost the same; parcel size and weather decide which one fits. With a 75 km range for motorcycles and 100 km for cars, every run from central Ankara to the outer districts and the airport is covered.
We measure distances along the road network, not in a straight line, and in Ankara that matters. On most of our longer routes the road distance came out 14 to 48 percent longer than the straight line; Bilkent to Gölbaşı, about 10 km as the crow flies, was 22.52 km by road.
Real route examples: what does a courier cost in Ankara?

A rate card does not tell you what your own route costs, so we picked 13 typical Ankara runs between business districts, industrial zones, campuses and residential areas. Distances were measured on OpenStreetMap data with OSRM; for the short routes we also measured walking and cycling paths:
| Route (sample points) | Driving distance | Walking / cycling route | Walking | Bicycle / e-scooter | Motorcycle / car |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kızılay → Sakarya Street | 2.14 km | 0.82 km / 1.05 km | TRY 144.00 | TRY 216.00 | TRY 288.00 |
| Kızılay → Kuğulu Park | 2.69 km | 2.66 km / 2.26 km | over 1 km | TRY 216.00 | TRY 288.00 |
| Kızılay → Ulus | 4.02 km | 2.90 km / 2.74 km | over 1 km | TRY 216.00 | TRY 288.00 |
| Kızılay → Mamak | 7.60 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 437.76 |
| Kızılay → Keçiören | 8.80 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 506.88 |
| Kızılay → METU (ODTÜ) | 10.63 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 612.29 |
| Kızılay → Ostim | 14.37 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 827.71 |
| Ostim → Sincan | 17.04 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 981.50 |
| Kızılay → Pursaklar | 17.96 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 1,034.50 |
| Kızılay → Çayyolu | 18.67 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 1,075.39 |
| Bilkent → Gölbaşı | 22.52 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 1,297.15 |
| Ulus → Eryaman | 23.02 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 1,325.95 |
| Kızılay → Esenboğa Airport | 30.70 km | — | over 1 km | over 3 km | TRY 1,768.32 |
Distances were measured on 28 October 2026 along OpenStreetMap road routes between sample points that represent each area; the actual route may vary with traffic, closures and the exact address. You see the final price when you create the delivery in our app.
- Inside Kızılay, a walking courier costs half as much. Güvenpark to Sakarya Street is 0.82 km on foot: TRY 144 walking versus TRY 288 by motorcycle. The same trip is 2.14 km by car.
- Kızılay–Ulus and Kızılay–Kuğulu Park fit the cycling limit. Cycling routes of 2.74 and 2.26 km mean a TRY 216 bicycle or scooter courier is enough for small parcels.
- On the long axes, distance drives the price. Kızılay to Mamak is TRY 437.76, Ulus to Eryaman TRY 1,325.95 and Kızılay to Esenboğa Airport TRY 1,768.32. Picking up close to the destination saves money on every kilometre.
Republic Day and the Turkic States summit: road closures and delivery planning

According to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality's announcement of 26 October 2026, the programme at Zafer Square starts at 6 pm on Thursday 29 October, followed at 7 pm by a lantern procession from Zafer Square to the Second Parliament building. The same week brings heavy diplomatic traffic: as the Organization of Turkic States announced, its 13th summit will be held in Ankara on 30 October 2026 with heads of state attending, and the organisation's calendar lists its Council of Foreign Ministers in Ankara on 29 October.
When we wrote this guide on the morning of 28 October, the Ankara Police Department had not yet published a 2026 closure list. Last year it came out the day before: the police notice of 28 October 2025 said that from 6 am on 29 October, if needed, Atatürk Boulevard between Kuğulu Junction and Ulus Square, part of İsmet İnönü Boulevard, GMK Boulevard between Kızılay and Anadolu Square, Cumhuriyet Street between Ulus and the railway station, Çankırı Street and Ziya Gökalp Street would be closed to traffic. If this year follows the same pattern, Kızılay, Sıhhiye and Ulus will feel it most.
- Send central deliveries early. The public holiday begins at 1 pm on 28 October, so many public offices close in the afternoon.
- Agree on a fallback handover point. If the address sits on a closed street, a nearby open junction or a rear entrance speeds things up.
- Allow for motorcades and ceremonies. Short traffic stops are possible during the celebrations and the summit, so keep delivery times flexible.
- Use the outer axes. Routes via the Eskişehir road, Istanbul road, Konya road and the ring road, bypassing the centre, are less exposed to closures.
- Follow the official source. The Ankara Police Department publishes its road closure notices on its website.
What drives the price? Four Ankara-specific factors
1. Main axes and the 5 km threshold
Ankara spreads outwards and its traffic leans on a few corridors: the Eskişehir road to the west (METU, Bilkent, Çayyolu), the Istanbul road to the north-west (Ostim, İvedik, Batıkent and towards Sincan), the Konya road to the south (Gölbaşı) and the Esenboğa road to the north. Jobs between central areas such as Kızılay, Kavaklıdere, Tunalı and Ulus usually stay under 5 km and cost TRY 288; heading out to Keçiören, Mamak or METU crosses the threshold.
2. Parcel size
Walking, bicycle and scooter couriers carry up to 5 desi, motorcycles up to 40 desi and cars up to 150 desi (desi = length × width × height in cm / 3000). Bulky spare-part boxes from Ostim and İvedik usually call for a car.
3. Time of day
Morning and evening commutes load the Eskişehir road, the Istanbul road and the boulevards feeding Kızılay. Because our price depends on distance, rush hour does not change it, but it can lengthen delivery time.
4. Fuel
According to Dünya's fuel report of 28 October 2026, petrol costs TRY 77.30, diesel TRY 98.00 and LPG TRY 41.29 per litre in Ankara. Fuel is a major cost for couriers; our rates above are unchanged and valid as of 28 October 2026.

Which courier for which job in Ankara?
| Job and area | Courier we recommend | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Documents between nearby offices around Kızılay, Sakarya Street or the ministries quarter | Walking courier | Lowest price within 1 km, no parking hassle |
| Café, boutique or pharmacy orders around Tunalı Hilmi, Kavaklıdere and Kuğulu Park | Bicycle, e-bike or e-scooter | TRY 216 up to 3 km, nimble in narrow streets |
| Samples, spare parts and drawings from Ostim and İvedik industrial zones | Motorcycle courier | Fast along the Istanbul road axis, up to 40 desi |
| Urgent papers between offices, campuses and hospitals along the Eskişehir road | Motorcycle courier | Reaches METU, Bilkent and Çayyolu, up to 75 km |
| Passports, documents or small bags that must reach Esenboğa Airport | Motorcycle; car if bulky | Long northern run, same per-km price for both |
| Boxes, flowers or cakes to outer districts such as Gölbaşı, Etimesgut, Sincan | Car courier | Closed boot, up to 150 desi, weather-proof |
In Çankaya's office districts, between Kızılay, the ministries, Kavaklıdere and Söğütözü, document traffic is heavy and short walking or cycling jobs are the cheapest option. The Ostim and İvedik industrial zones in Yenimahalle send spare parts and samples across the city every day; Ostim to Sincan costs TRY 981.50. Keçiören and Pursaklar lie to the north, Mamak to the east, Etimesgut and Sincan to the west and Gölbaşı to the south, so runs between them and to the airport are handled by motorcycle and car couriers. Frequently asked questions
How much does a same-day courier cost in Ankara?
As of 28 October 2026 our VAT-inclusive rates are TRY 144 for a walking courier (max. 1 km) and TRY 216 for a bicycle, e-bike or e-scooter courier (max. 3 km), with no extra km charge on either. Motorcycle and car couriers cost TRY 288 up to 5 km and TRY 57.60 for every further km, up to 75 km by motorcycle and 100 km by car. We measure distance by road.
What is the per-km price of a motorcycle courier in Ankara?
The first 5 km cost a flat TRY 288; after that the price is 288 + (km − 5) × 57.60. Kızılay to Çayyolu, 18.67 km by road, comes to TRY 1,075.39, and Kızılay to Ostim, 14.37 km, to TRY 827.71 including VAT. We take motorcycle jobs of up to 75 km.
How much is a courier to Esenboğa Airport?
From Kızılay to Esenboğa Airport we measured 30.70 km by road, so a motorcycle or car courier costs TRY 1,768.32 including VAT. Walking, bicycle and scooter couriers are not assigned to airport runs at this distance. If a document has to catch a flight, book the courier early.
Can I send a courier in Ankara if roads close on 29 October?
On Republic Day closures usually affect the ceremony and celebration routes, mainly boulevards and streets on the Kızılay–Ulus line. If your delivery does not enter that area it is often unaffected; if it does, the courier takes a detour and the trip may take longer. Check the Ankara Police Department announcements for the final list and move critical deliveries forward where possible.
Are Jetbee couriers trustworthy?
We do not open courier accounts for anyone under 18 on any vehicle type, and we do not work with candidates who have a criminal record. You can follow every delivery live in our app and see the moment it is handed over.
